NFL To Steam Games on The Internets

Thats right folks, the NFL will be streaming all their games online with DirectTV's Supercast. However, thats where the good news stops. This is the NFL, they usually do things right but they've dropped the ball here and it may take a couple of seasons before they wake up and fix it but here are the problems:

• It is only available to people who subscribe to NFL Sunday Ticket ($269)
• Costs $99 extra on top of the Sunday Ticket fee
• Only works on Windows machines
• Only works with Internet Explorer
• Canada is left out in the cold (Outside North America, online streaming was available for $25/week last year).

In case you have not heard, there is a very neat site that allows you to view various social bookmarking sites (such as del.icio.us, digg, downfly, reddit and stumbleupon) from a different prespective - Fichey!

It takes a preview from the page that is on these various social bookmarking sites and you are able to flick through and view the page in a picture - you can then grab the picture to scroll down the page or double click on it to actually visit it!

It is very neat and I recommend that you check it out! Let me know what you think of it!

Media: Wal-Mart paying Mexican teenagers $0 per hour

Here are some of the articles that are dragging Wal-Mart through the mud:

The issue is being over-dramatized - Wal-Mart is not paying teenagers that work at their stores in Mexico. However, these people are ignorant about the issue and are trying to equate this to some sweat shop producing cheap goods. In Mexico it is the culture that young people do not work for salary and rely on tips as they bag the groceries.
